ICUJP Statement on Iran Policy: We unequivocally oppose military action by the United States or any other country against Iran. While we denounce the buildup of nuclear weapons in Iran, in the United States, or in any other country, there is in existence the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize winning organization, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has proven to be an august and effective power in the efforts to ascertain and control the existence of nuclear proliferation. We look to them to take the lead in guiding us toward actions, if any are needed, that are diplomatic rather than violent.
