ICUJP is proud to endorse the Prisoner Hunger Strike Solidarity Coalition's (PHSS) launch of Statewide Coordinated Actions To End Solitary Confinement (SCATESC), which will start Monday, March 23, 2015.

The 23rd of every month is Prisoner Rights Day, a response to a call from the prisoners who went on hunger strike against isolation-torture. This date emphasizes the 23 or more hours every day that people are kept in solitary confinement.
