Street Symphony's Presentation of "Messiah"

ICUJP is thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, Street Symphony will present a performance of G.F. Handel’s beloved oratorio, “Messiah” on Skid Row, at The Midnight Mission, on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2 pm to 4 pm in their Gym.

Everyone is invited to lend their voices to this history-making event. Residents of the Skid Row community, and their neighbors (including YOU), will be invited to sing alongside the newly formed Street Symphony Chamber Singers, comprised of members of the LA Master Chorale, with instrumental accompaniment from Street Symphony, including members of the LA Philharmonic.

Be sure to bring your own Messiah score if you have one. If you can't carry a tune, come anyway, and be immersed in this glorious music and the uplifting spirit of community which this performance will provide.
