An Interfaith Gathering on Worker Justice

What do our faith traditions say about labor, workers’ rights and dignity?

In light of the struggle that is taking place at USC on students and workers fighting for USC to stop using sweatshop goods, join us as we engage with leaders in our communities who are defending workers and their rights. If you’re involved in faith-labor work, come share your story. If you’re not involved, come find out how you can help -- especially at your campus or community.

Featuring a special performance by Lee Boek, of Public Works Improvisational Theatre doing renditions of labor songs and poems.

Featuring a presentation by Guadalupe Garcia, site manager and a couple of day laborers from IDEPSCA (Institute of Popular Education of Southern California, Instituto de Educacion Popular del Sur de California).

This event is free but donations are encouraged. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
