After the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO., after the killing of Ezell Ford here in South Los Angeles and several other people of color in the U.S., police brutality and racism have once again been given a national spotlight. Join CopWatch Santa Ana, Spiritual Youth for Justice and Peace (SYJP) and others as we talk critically on how to effectively fight against police terror and racism, especially from a youth and student perspective. Speakers and presenters TBA.
Special performance by acclaimed social justice poet Matt Sedillo.
