Our world is at a strange crossroads. On one hand, we long for peace and harmony in our lives and in the world, but on the other hand the sad reality is one of division and strife. WHAT CAN WE DO?
Each one of us can do something, but our efforts are magnified and made more effective when we come together as a community and act with a common purpose.
This Friday, members of the Southern California Committee for a Parliament of the World's Religions will be speaking at our Friday Forum about the purpose of their upcoming interfaith, inter-generational event, "Sharing Our Stories: Celebrating Harmony in Our Broken World." The program will strive to provide a balm of compassion that can heal a broken world by sharing stories that speak truth to power and rebuild the moral foundation of beloved community.
