Give Peace a Chance in Korea

Copy_of_Korea_Flyers.jpg

As we saw during the "Peace Olympics," North and South Koreans want unity and peace, not war. How can we respond effectively to this historic opportunity? Learn about a national campaign to avert war with North Korea, and what peace groups are doing to promote understanding and peace in this critical region.

Speakers:
Sue Park and Hyun Hur, Mennonite pastors, founded ReconciliAsian, a peace organization that teaches conflict transformation skills.

Shan Cretin, former head of the American Friends Service Committee, has traveled to North Korea to visit AFSC's programs there.
