From the flames of a burning Air Force jet, he was called to the pulpit.
From the flames of the 1992 LA uprising following theRodney King verdict, he helped rebuild a city. When the flames died, Rev. Dr. Cecil L. Chip Murray worked ceaselessly to address the social and economic ills that had spawned the unrest.
His dedicated advocacy for all people, public faith, and civic life makes him a contemporary prophet of socially engaged Christianity.
He is truly a Courageous Peacemaker
