Sowing Seeds of Hope in Turbulent Times

Description: How do we encourage, challenge, and support kids to grow into peacemakers and peace leaders? What have we learned about what helps - keys to the kin-dom of justice and peace.

Speaker:

Susan Stouffer

Dr Susan Stouffer, Executive Director of SOLA Community Peace Center. She has a B.A. in Math/Secondary Education, an M.S. in Occupational Therapy, and a Ph.D. from USC in Occupational Science. She was the founder of Peace Camp/Peace Projects programs and has directed these peacemaking programs for 16 years. Three years ago she became the Executive Director of SOLA Community Peace Center. As the Peace Center Director, she has acquired skills and experience as a Peace Educator as she has taught peacemaking skills to hundreds of children and families. She has become a grant writer, fundraiser, and curriculum developer. She has been able to support children growing up as more peaceful and just human beings and taking on leadership roles due to their involvement with these peace programs.

If you prefer to join by phone, you'll be prompted to enter the Meeting ID number and passcode. You won't be able to see the visuals or attendees, but you can view them on the meeting video recording afterward.
