Event Description: Human rights is not merely an academic notion, we see them violated by the warehousing of Black people and stripping Dominicans of Haitian descent of their citizenship. We will look at policies that seek to advance human rights, but often a prohibition of the deprivation of human rights.

José Woss is a life-long justice seeker. He is the son of immigrants, a former social worker, interpreter for survivors of torture, and current Director for Justice Reform at the Friends Committee on National Legislation.
