Event Description:
The CA Israel lobby wants to silence educators who support critical debate about Palestine/Israel in schools.
That's why the Legislative Jewish Caucus (LJC) is sponsoring AB 715, a bill that would encourage anonymous false complaints of antisemitism against teachers, administrators and school board members who support discussion of US-Israel genocide in high school classrooms. AB 715 would also pledge lawmakers to support a statewide antisemitism coordinator to further intimidate educators and chill speech about decolonization.
