Event Description:
An introduction to the joint grassroots movement "Standing Together" and the SF Bay Area supporters' efforts toward peace, equality and social justice.
Join the conversation with our speakers:
Adi Greif is on the steering committee of the SF Bay Area informal supporters of Standing Together. She helps to organize ceasefire rallies and joint Palestinian-Israeli speaker tours. She also moderates a number of dialogue groups, including one that is likely the largest whatsapp group dialogue, with over 400 members from all over the world. Her background is a PhD in Political Science from Yale University. She is Israeli-American and raised in the Bay
Area.
Adnan Jaber is a curious, hopeful human from Jerusalem, now living in Los Angeles. As a lecturer at UCLA, Adnan teaches “Design Entrepreneurship for Peace and Impact,” empowering students to harness technology for social good. He co-leads the LA Friends of Standing Together.

Here's how to join the online meeting:
To join by video conference, you'll need to download the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device. Click on the link to join the meeting and then enter the Meeting ID number and passcode. You'll be able to see slides and video, as well as speakers and other attendees.
If you prefer to join by phone, you'll be prompted to enter the Meeting ID number and passcode. You won't be able to see the visuals or attendees, but you can view them on the meeting video recording afterward.
If you're new to Zoom and would like to use the video option, we recommend you download the app well ahead of time.
