Event Description:
Is your life poetic? Find out how poets are helping total strangers discover medicinal metaphors hidden within their most intimate stories.
We will also be talking about Todd Boss' book The Boy Who Said Wow, a heartwarming real story about an autistic and non-verbal boy and the wonderful reaction he had to beautiful music, and also giving you some resources for advocacy and acceptance for Autistic/Neurodivergent people and their loved ones.
Todd Boss (b. 1968) is an independent American producer, writer, public artist, and innovator who has contributed to EMMY-winning and GRAMMY-nominated projects, published four poetry collections with W. W. Norton and a children's book with Simon & Schuster, written lyrics premiering at Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, conceived and executed nationwide literacy and education programs, and launched a ground-breaking podcast. His motto is "Wake to the wonder of the world."
He is also author of the the book The Boy Who Said Wow, available from Simon & Schuster.

Here's how to join the online meeting:
To join by video conference, you'll need to download the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device. Click on the link to join the meeting and then enter the Meeting ID number and passcode. You'll be able to see slides and video, as well as speakers and other attendees.
If you prefer to join by phone, you'll be prompted to enter the Meeting ID number and passcode. You won't be able to see the visuals or attendees, but you can view them on the meeting video recording afterward.
If you're new to Zoom and would like to use the video option, we recommend you download the app well ahead of time.
